We are Code Athena, envoys of Mediterranean hospitality.
Filoxenia
In ancient Greece guests were sacred, and hospitality (filoxenia, which means love of the stranger) carried with it the duty of looking after your guest. It was a sacred rule of the gods and, as strangers were held to be sent by them, they were treated with honour and respect.
What we do
Code Athena is an Athens company working in short-term holiday rentals, and the work has two sides: handpicked homes for guests and, for property owners, the services needed to turn a house or holiday home into a source of income (promotion, management and, where needed, renovation).
Respect comes first
Experience has taught us that respect comes first: for the property of the owner who offers their home, and for the guests who trust us with an important part of their trip.
We know that what you take home from a trip is the experience, and we want to help make it a good one. We bring our passion to hospitality: not only a place to stay on your holidays, but a place that feels like home. That is why we visited many homes to find the ones that meet our standards and, more importantly, yours.
