For property owners

If you own a house or a holiday home, letting it short-term (to holiday guests, usually for a few days or weeks at a time) is one way to put it to use, and we can look after the work that comes with it.

Benefits of short-term letting

Short-term letting can bring a higher income than a traditional long-term lease, although how much higher (if at all) is likely to depend on the location, the season and the way the home is run.

  • You choose when the home is let, and can block out dates for your own stays.
  • You decide how involved you want to be in the day-to-day running.

Who looks after what

We can look after every stage of the work, which begins with preparing the home and runs all the way through to managing the bookings, so that you deal with one team for all of it.

Renovation is carried out with an experienced construction company we work with, while the day-to-day care of the home is in the hands of our own property management team.

Registrations and declarations

We can explain the registrations and declarations that apply to letting your home, as well as the tax and legal points you may want to raise with your own accountant and lawyer – although this is general guidance and not legal or tax advice.

Getting the home ready

Whatever state the home is in, we can help, whether it needs a simple coat of paint or a full renovation. Tourist use has its own requirements, and advice from people who know them may save you unnecessary costs.

  • Renovation, from painting and small repairs to redesigning the space from scratch
  • Furnishing
  • Decoration

The questions owners ask us most often (on the keys, the inspections, the notice period and the legal framework, among others) are answered in the FAQ.
